MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - There's one at just about every home and business, but you won't find a trash can at Healthy Beginnings Hair & Nail Salon on Sage Avenue.

"Someone called and said I had a bunch of trash dumped in the parking lot. I was like -- why is not in the garbage can... She said I can't find the garbage can. So I said I'm on my way," Sonyia Roberts, Owner Healthy Beginnings Hair & Nail Salon.

When she got to her salon, Roberts went straight to her security cameras. It didn't take long to find out what happened to the can. It was Tuesday night around 7:30 -- not long after they closed -- two guys roll up in small truck and loaded it up.

"They circled the neighborhood in the little truck, came up and turned off the truck in the middle of the street as you can see in the cameras. Cut the lights off, came here and got the trash can and dumped all the trash like right here where my car is. Just a lot of trash," explained Roberts.

In their rush to get away they probably didn't notice every can has a serial number where it can be tracked. In the meantime, Roberts called the City where she was told it would cost $53 to replace her trash can -- another added expense for a small business.

Roberts said they've been there for 18 years and have not had any problems until now.

"I was shocked because I actually though it may have been kids - just playing around or something. But when I saw it was two adult men -- I was disappointed and disappointed they dumped the trash out... If you are going to take the trash can -- take the trash too. Don't make me clean up trash too -- so I was disappointed," said Roberts.

While it's hard to make out who they are -- take another look at the truck. It's an old one, possibly a Nissan, with distinctive stripes on the side. If you know who they are -- turn them in.
