Baldwin County officials are searching for information regarding a cold case from 2000.

On March 26, 2000, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from Styx River in the Seminole community. According to authorities, the body was found in the river just south of the Hwy. 90 bridge.

They say the body was that of an Asian or Native American male 47-53 years of age. The person would be 66-72 years of age today. He was further described as 5’5” to 5’7” inches tall and weighed approximately 150 pounds and had dark hair and a goatee.

The person had several distinctive tattoos on his body. The Sheriff’s Office is hoping that the public will share this information so the family can bring this person home. There was no foul play suspected in this case.
