FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - The City of Fairhope is giving people the chance to wipe the slate clean by offering an amnesty program.

On Wednesday, December 12, and on Wednesday, December 19, anyone with an outstanding warrant will be allowed to pay off fines, get a new court date, and avoid jail time. Those interested in amnesty will need to go to the Fairhope Municipal Complex on North Section Street on those two days.

People who are not sure whether or not they have an outstanding warrant can call the court at 251-279-3260 to check their status.
