FOLEY, Ala. -- Police in Foley say they have located the missing SUV belonging to a homicide victim.

Police say they have found the 1999 Dodge Durango.

"Through the help of the public, an anonymous caller advised us of its location," police said in a news release. "It was found abandoned near Mobile Highway in Pensacola, Florida."

Police say the vehicle belonged to homicide victim Ronald Jeffery Higginbotham.

According to investigators, 53-year-old Higginbotham was found dead in his home at Bay Villas Apartments on Bay Street late Tuesday morning.

According to police sources, Higginbotham was stabbed to death. The investigator also told FOX10 News that it appears the victim fought back against his attacker as he was stabbed several times.
