FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) - A Baldwin County restaurant owner is taking on raffle items ahead of a January 31 fundraiser for the family of fallen Mobile Police Officer Sean Tuder.

Russell Perkins, the owner of P.S. Taco Company and Rock N Roll Sushi in Foley, says both restaurants at the Tanger Outlets on Highway 59 will be drop-off locations for anyone who wants to give items that will be raffled off at the fundraiser.

"[You can bring] pretty much anything," Perkins said. "So if you feel it's of any value to share on the raffle standpoint, by all means we'll take it for sure."

'Remembering a Hero: Sean Tuder Benefit and Fundraiser' will be Thursday, January 31 at Cedar Street Social Club in Mobile. It starts at 5:30 p.m.

Perkins' friends put together the benefit night, featuring live entertainment and the raffle to celebrated Ofc. Tuder's life. There is a $5 and all proceeds will go to Tuder's family.

"We've got a lot of mutual friends and so I wanted to do whatever I could," Perkins said. "Whatever we could do, anything to help out."

Police say Tuder, 30, was shot to death by 19-year-old suspect Marco Perez on January 20.
