That was quick.

Just hours after 61 year old Sonya P. McRand appeared on "FOX10 News Fugitive Files", McRand turned herself into Mobile Police. She had been wanted for months on a charge of financial exploitation of an elderly person.

According to investigators, earlier this year, McRand had been hired by an elderly woman to run errands for her while she was recovering from knee surgery. One of those errands was to make a grocery run. Police say the woman gave McRand her credit card, but it was used to buy more than groceries. M-P-D confirms McRand used the card to run up $4,000 in charges, including stops at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and gas stations, then vanished. She'll be in court December 12th.
