MOBILE, Ala. -- Mobile police have made an arrest in a shooting Friday that left two people dead

Police responded Friday night to a call of multiple shots fired and one person down in the 500 block of Dauphin Island Parkway.  When officers arrived on the scene they found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victims were transported to the hospital where they later died from their injuries.  Three other people arrived at hospitals suffering from gunshot wounds. According to police, these assaults are related to their investigation. 

Tawana Hunter said she hears gunfire like clockwork every Friday night, but this time she said it was different.

"To the degree that it happened last night is very alarming because those were a lot of shots, the shots lasted for about 15 minutes," she said.

According to police officials, 29-year-old Cedric Williams was responsible for the deaths and the assaults.  Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of second-degree assault.

"Bullets have no names it could have easily come through the windows, the wall, the door and hit anybody among us," Hunter said.
