MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -- Mobile Police said officers arrested a pregnant woman who was driving drunk on Interstate 10.

Officers were called to the Exit 27 off-ramp from westbound I-10 around 9 a.m. Saturday morning after reports of a reckless driver. Police said they found Jessica Bateman, 30, and she admitted to drinking at a friend's house before deciding to drive home.

According to police, Bateman said she is three months pregnant. She was arrested after police gave her a sobriety test.

Bateman was booked into jail on charges of DUI and endangering the welfare of a child.
