We all know the struggle is real trying to find time to work in a workout. Do you run? Hit the weights? What's the best way to burn those calories?
With all of our time being limited we really need to get the best bang for our buck when it comes to exercising.
Walking unfortunately doesn’t burn a lot of calories. 150-200 per half hour. Yoga is very similar unless you really focus on strength and balance then you can burn off a few more calories.
HIIT workouts are great. We’re talking about high intensity interval training. Things like kickboxing and cross fit. These can burn up to 400 calories per half hour.
But almost nothing beats a good old run. This will depend upon the intensity that you do, but anywhere from 375 to more than 500 calories per half hour with a run.

Of course, there are many other choices from weightlifting, to swimming, to biking. Whatever you feel comfortable with will always be the best choice. So get started and make the most of your time!
The Department of Health recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise per week.
