Mobile Police said they arrested the man who fired bullets into a police cruiser on May 6.

Adrian Hall, 30, is accused of firing at the police car that was parked at Oaklawn Homes Apartments on Baltimore Street. Police were in that area investigating a report of shots fired.

Police said Hall was in another vehicle when he fired several shots at the police car. The officer was not injured and returned fire at the vehicle while it fled the scene.

On his way to jail, Hall told FOX10 News that he was in the area at the time of the shooting, but did not fire any shots. He said he fled the scene after shots were fired into his vehicle.

Hall was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail four days after the shooting on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving while revoked, and domestic violence. Police said they connected him to the shooting on May 21 and added a charge of firing into an unoccupied vehicle.
