6:20am Update:  All lanes have reopened.

Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was hit early Thursday morning, May 16.  It happened around 3:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-10 near US 90.

According to officials, the vehicle remained on the scene. 

Authorities shut down the westbound lanes and diverted traffic to Highway 90 at exit 15 while investigators worked the scene. 

We will let you know when that portion of Interstate 10 is reopened.
