Over time chrome fixtures can lose their shine and luster -- but, the metal's softness can make it susceptible to damage if it comes into contact with abrasive chemicals. The "Queen of Clean" has a natural solution to making your chrome shine.
There are several ways to keep chrome sparkling. Use white vinegar on a cloth or sponge to remove water spots and soap scum, then buff with a soft cloth. Rubbing alcohol also works well. Rub it on with a soft cloth or paper towel and then buff.
To shine any chrome or metal fixture in a hurry, use a dryer fabric softener sheet I save my used ones for this. Simply rub a dry fixture with the softener sheet. You can also use lemon juice on chrome to polish it. For other faucets such as oiled bronze, use a microfiber cloth.
