The Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of 35-year-old Nicholas Ryan Young.

Young has been named as a person of interest in the ongoing murder investigation 53-year-old Ronald Jeffery Higginbotham who was found stabbed to death inside his Foley apartment Tuesday, October 30.

Police say Young, of Gulf Shores, was seen driving the victim's stolen vehicle.

Thursday, authorities say a warrant has been obtained for Theft of Property 1st degree for Young, which involves the theft of the homicide victim’s vehicle.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Nicholas Young they are asked to call the Foley Police Department or the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
