Maysville minor storm damage

Strong winds do some minor damage in Mobile in the Maysville community.

MOBILE, Ala. -- Storm damage is reported at midmorning Tuesday in the Maysville area, where a microburst is believed to be responsible for downing trees, knocking down fences and ripping away satellite dishes.

Damage was reported off Michigan Avenue, on Flicker Drive and Dabney Drive.

A FOX10 News viewer also reports damage nearby on Raven Street in the Birdville neighborhood.

Radar confirms winds were around 50 to 55 miles per hour, which is just below severe limits (58 mph).

FOX10 News has a crew on the way to the area.
