(CNN/Meredith) -- A customer at a Walmart in Georgia used quick thinking to stop a shoplifting suspect, and it was all caught on video.

In the security camera video released by Peachtree City Police, a shoplifting suspect is seen running from the store, nearing other customers in the parking lot.

The nearby customers quickly realize what was happening, and a man pushes his shopping cart directly into the shoplifter's path just in time.

The suspect collided with the shopping cart, tripping, causing him to fall to the ground. His fall allowed police time to catch up to him.

The end of the video shows police escorting the suspect away in handcuffs.
