Six sports figures inducted into the 31st class of the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame.

Murphy alum and one of the nations top sports oddsmaker, Danny Sheridan among the inductees.

Along with other sports legends like Luis Gonzalez, a former MLB All-Star, a World Series hero, and a South Alabama alum.

Also inducted, Roy Patton, one of the founders of the South Alabama soccer programs as well as a successful coach for the jags and the University of Mobile rams.

The late Rea Schuessler, the father of the Senior Bowl.

Rick Trickett, a former MGM football player who went on to have a successful coaching career that spanned more than 40 years.

Nyla Shepherd, a former member of the McGill-Toolen Dirty Dozen who was a star volleyball player and basketball player for the yellow jackets.
