Lighthouse Bakery on Dauphin Island features delicious king cake treats on Studio 10. They're the perfect single serving dessert to replace cutting into a king cake. Made with Amaretto cream cheese and decorated with true classic Mardi Gras colors, these will surely be the talk of your party.

  • Cooked cinnamon rolls, chopped finely (if using canned, 2 large cans)
  • 1 pound cream cheese
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons Mexican vanilla (divided)
  • 9 cups powdered sugar
  • Colored sprinkles
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 shot Amaretto

Chop up cinnamon rolls into small pieces.

In a mixer, mix together cream cheese, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons vanilla and Amaretto until blended evenly.

Add in chopped cinnamon rolls until well blended. Scoop out with small ice cream scoop onto parchment paper and place in refrigerator.

While mixture is chilling--in a mixer, add half of milk, mix in 7 cups powdered sugar, then add the rest of milk, 2 tablespoons vanilla and melted butter, mix until well blended. *Note- feel free to add more powdered sugar to thicken the icing, if you like.

Drizzle icing over chilled cake bites and decorate with colored sprinkles. Place each cake bite in individual cupcake wrappers for easy serving.
