The Light of the Village is a Christian ministry located in the Alabama Village Community in Prichard. It was established in 2001 and serves all ages five days a week: Sunday-Thursday;

This year we will preview the "Growing Up In Alabama Village with Light of the Village" episode from "The Good Road", a PBS documentary that features stories from around the world. This episode will publicly air in the fall.

This episode follows the lives of three young men as they grow up inside Alabama Village for two years.
