On the eve of the Dollar General Bowl Mardi Gras parade and with the 2019 Carnival season just around the corner, Casi Callaway with Mobile Baykeeper joined us on Studio10 to discuss the litter-free Mardi Gras campaign.

During Carnival seasons 2018 and 2019, Mobile Baykeeper is implementing a litter-free Mardi Gras campaign to educate the community on the harmful impacts Mardi Gras litter can have on our waterways. We all love Mardi Gras! They just want the citizens to celebrate responsibly and remember that trash left on the ground will empty into a storm drain and eventually pollute our local rivers and creeks!

Want to get involved? Share on social media using #LitterFreeMG and help Mobile move toward a litter-free Mardi Gras!
