In this Pet of the Week we meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon is a 6-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix. After being found on the streets by an Animal Control officer in the City of Fairhope and held for a 7 day hold period us, The Haven knew she deserved a second chance at life. Click on the link to see Cinnamon and learn more.

Also, since the weather is getting cooler, The Haven discussed some weather precautions:

*bang the hood of your car to ensure no cats/kittens could be seeking warmth inside or under your vechile

*uping your outside animals food intake because they do need the extra calories this time of year

*make sure to have proper outdoor housing for your pets (extra linens or even heated cat/dog houses)

*letting your animals fur grow out more so then you would in the summer to give them the extra warmth they need, just because animals have fur does not mean they stay warm during cold weather
