The Dale's Seasoning Cook-Off continues on Studio 10! Fox 10's Dani Dials shared her award-winning recipe for this sweet and juicy chicken injected with Dale's.
** will need a food injector4 skinless, boneless chicken breastsDale's seasoningCreole seasoningsalt and pepper to taste1 tablespoons lemon juice1 tablespoon minced garlic6-8 sprigs of thyme1 tablespoon brown sugar4 tablespoons olive oilany sweet BBQ sauce
Use injector to inject Dale's seasoning into chicken breasts thoroughly.Pour lemon juice evenly on top of chicken (both sides).Lightly season chicken on both sides with Creole seasoning, salt and pepper.
Warm olive oil and minced garlic in skillet on medium heat.Add seasoned chicken to skillet and cover.Flip chicken after 7 minutes, cover and cook for 7 more minutes.*May need to cook longer depending on thickness of chicken.
In separate bowl mix sweet BBQ sauce, brown sugar (ginger paste optional)...Pour mixture into skillet with chicken after chicken is done. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.Garnish with thyme.
