It's another cool start today with temperatures in the 50s. We have some clouds moving in overhead, but they are high clouds and won't produce any rain. This afternoon will still see plentiful sunshine and warm temperatures. Highs will top out in the low 80s. Tonight, temperatures will cool to near 60 degrees. Tomorrow, we will see even more of an increase in cloud cover throughout the day. Once again, high temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Thursday morning will start out dry, but through the day a storm system will being to move across the Gulf Coast. By Thursday evening, showers and thunderstorms will begin to fire up from west to east. This system will then push across the area through the night, bringing showers and thunderstorms. We are under a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe weather throughout the night, mainly for damaging wind gusts. The storms will exit the region Friday morning, but we could still see some lingering showers throughout the day on Friday. The weekend is looking perfect with lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s.
