Hi there,

I'm Chief Meteorologist Jason Smith with the latest look at your forecast.

It was another nice day along the Gulf Coast! We saw a mix of sun and clouds, with daytime highs warming up into the mid-to-upper 70s! Heading into this evening, clouds will continue to linger. This will keep us from dropping down as much as the past couple of days, so we'll see overnight lows in the lower-to-mid 50s. If making any Friday night plans, expect temperatures to be near 60 degrees, or in the upper-50s, by 7 PM.

Patchy to dense fog will continue into the overnight hours. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY has been issued for the whole FOX10 viewing area, and is in effect until 9 AM tomorrow morning. If heading out early tomorrow morning, we could see some decreased visibility. Also expecting these conditions to move out into the Gulf.

For your Saturday afternoon, daytime highs will continue to run well above average, with temperatures maxing out in the mid-to-upper 70s.

Sunshine will continue into Saturday and Sunday, but rain chances for the first half of next week. Currently Monday through Wednesday are showing scattered thunderstorms during the day.

Next shot at cold air won't come until next weekend.

Have a great Friday!
