Nasty storms are headed this way tonight so make sure you stay weather aware and that you have a way to get warnings if they are issued. The severe weather threat for our area is a Level 3 out of 5 and the storm threat will start after 5pm and end for everyone in our area after 3am. There is a significant risk for tornadoes with this system. Please have a way to get warnings if they are issued and take action if they are and you are in the path of any storms that show up. We'll see the system move East of Mobile and the Eastern Shore by midnight and then East of Pensacola by 2am. Once the severe threat ends, breezy north winds will take over and our temps will get much cooler. Winds will be between 15 and 25 mph later tonight. Highs today will reach around 80 degrees but the high on Friday will be in the upper 60s with clouds and a few scattered showers. Plenty of sunshine is expected for the Easter weekend with highs in the lower 70s Saturday and the upper 70s on Sunday.
