We've got a mild start to our Thursday with temperatures in the 50s as of 5 a.m. There are also a few isolated showers in place with periodic light rain possible during the morning and afternoon.
Rain coverage will be at 40% but will increase to 80% tonight and into Friday. A stalled front is the reason why the rain chances exist but as a Low tracks East along the front, we get our rain coverage to ramp up. No storms or severe weather is expected but have the rain gear close by and drive safely on those slick roads tomorrow. Highs will reach the upper 60s again this afternoon with some changes to the temps this weekend. Highs will drop to the lower 60s Saturday but then jump up to the lower 70s by Monday. Morning temps will be in the mid 40s by Saturday morning but will jump back into the 50s by Monday morning. 30s shouldn't return to the Gulf Coast until the end of next week.
