MONROE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - Three women accused of voter fraud in Monroe County have pleaded not guilty, according to court documents.

Samantha Kyles, Sarah Bennett, and Sharon Denson were indicted on voter fraud charges in connection with the Frisco City municipal election last August.

Court documents show Denson, Kyles, and Bennett are scheduled to be back in court on March 30 for their arraignment.

According to the Unified Judicial System of Alabama, Kyles has worked as a judicial assistant for District Judge Donna Silcox since 2019. As of March 11, Kyles is still an employee for Silcox.

Officials also confirmed Bennett was a security guard for the Monroe County Courthouse, whose last day on the job was March 4.
