Salzman, Feeding the Gulf Coast hosting back-to-school giveaway in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Rep. Michelle Salzman is partnering with Feeding the Gulf Coast for a community food distribution and backpack giveaway Saturday in Pensacola.

The event will be held at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, located at 6205 N. W St. Cars can begin lining up at 6 a.m., and the giveaway begins at 7:30 a.m.

Families will receive fresh food and grocery items, along with backpacks filled with school supplies.

All items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
