Portion of McGregor Avenue to close for storm drain work starting Wednesday

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - McGregor Avenue between Old Shell Road and Springhill Avenue will close Wednesday, Oct. 28, for storm drain improvements, Mobile city officials said.

The closure is expected to last through approximately Nov. 11, according to city officials.

A detour will route drivers northbound on McGregor Avenue to westbound Museum Drive, then northbound on PFC John D. New Street back to Springhill Avenue.
