Riverchase Galleria has reopened following shooting
HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) - One person was shot in the arm at the Riverchase Galleria Friday afternoon, Hoover Mayor Nick Derzis confirmed. The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
The Hoover Police Department responded to shots fired at the mall just before 12 p.m. in the food court area.
Police said this was not a random act of violence and early evidence indicated the suspect and victim knew each other and got in a fight that ended in a shooting.
